They definitely look a soft lilac color rather than blue but perhaps it is a variant of the blue variety.
The composition is great and you have overcome the issue of the fence well. Focus is nice and the background blur works.

Hi Pat.. From personal experience Phlox of any variety can be a challenge. A challenge for which you have risen to.
The take is very well position within the frame.
The focus of the front blossoms is sharp and the color bright and natural in appearance. Thank you for not going mad with the vibrance and saturation sliders.
