A very interesting and unique portrait, presented here of the young woman. I like your composition, shades, tones, colors, and textures of your piece. I especially like the design that you put into the background to highlight your subject. Well done.

Jewell, You have done a wonderful job portraying this beautiful young girl like the hippies of the sixties with flowers in her hair. But the most important part about Grace is her eyes and they, along with her smile only approach the beauty of the artist that created her. The best of luck in the contest. Ray

HI Jewell, The moment this popped up on my screen I knew who painted it. Your ladies are always so expressive and beautiful! Love the reassuring smile and the warmth of the eyes! The soft green background reminds me of Spring and so does the wonderful hat she's wearing! You have a wonderful talent of creating lovely feel good images! Great image for the contest! Good Luck! :o) Nancy

First of all, I love your ladies with the big expressive eyes! This one immediately makes me think of my daughter , she is a social worker and she is in my mind the perfect example of grace!
This lady is just lovely and her facial expression with those kind eyes shows Grace, we know that she would be very easy and comfortable to be around. I love her long thick brown hair and those big brown eyes framed so well with her lashes!
Love the purple dress and the crown of flowers she wears.
It's also a perfect background that works so very well to emphasize this lovely lady!
This is truly a pleasure to view!
Well presented! Very best wishes to you in this contest!

I like how you've drawn the facial features especially the full lips and those warm eyes that is so welcoming and friendly. Pretty artistic headdress. The halter top is lovely and show cased her shapely arm. Excellent choice of the contrasting background making your subject to really stands out. Excellent realistic artwork just with the use of watercolor markers and permanent ink. The artist note's is pretty insightful.
