A beautiful black and white stop action picture of the Buffalo/ Bison watching you, the light sparkling in it's eye. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera and sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks for your review Susan! This is a pencil drawing however, not a photo. ;)

It's so detailed I thought it was a photo forgive me. Your draftsmanship is extremely shilful in bringing this Buffalo to life on your canvas.

No worries! The best compliment I can get is when someone mistakes one of my drawings for a photo. Thanks again!

A very good image here of Where the Buffalo Roam with graphic pencil on paper. A lot of patience and skill to achieve this level of detail and I thought this was a black and white photo at first, so well done and thanks for sharing, cheers.

Beautiful, looks like a b&w photo of this impressive buffalo! You have really brought out the texture in the wooly coat, and the wonderful use of lights and shadow to bring out texture and definition in it's body. Attention to details is impressive, it can be seen especially in the prairie grass it stands in. Fantastic entry for this contest, my best wishes to you!

Hi FPPP, I literally thought this was a photo! From the grasses to the buffalo itself you did an extraordinary job with the details. Love the tilt of the head and the stare of the buffalo. Everything was well thought out and expertly created! Love the whole look of this! A really great entry for the Animal Art Contest! Good Luck! :o) Nancy
