I love how you have transformed a simple photograph of the bird into a work of art that truly celebrates their individuality and charm. Well done!

What can I say Pat, except this take absolutely raises the bar for avian photography both technical and artistry.

When a Robin is forced to endure the most disheartening of conditions.

A Robin will sing a lament it holds dear and sung only in times of uncertainty and fear.

It is that Robins lament that I hear today, of that I am certain.

Today the familiar lyrics sung by my resident Robin, reach my ears with a tone and tenor, different from what fell on yesterday's ears.

Not forlorn nor sad is my Robins lament but cheerful and confident and meant to be heard; by anyone with ears that will listen.

The Robin changed its tone and tenor as if to say, "Today is not yesterday, so listen to what I say, look past the pain and fog of circumstance and seize the day."

A 6 for the Technique, the Artistry and most of all the Inspiration... Bob

I don't think this Robin minds the rain. Looks like he enjoying the rain as it comes through the area. This is a fantastic photo, great angle, excellent shot. Great work, thank you for sharing!

A very different colored Robin to ours with a more orange hued breast against the brown plumage.
Nicely captured with good composition and the mottled background works well.
Focus is sharp on eye.

Hi Alaskapat, I like this picture of an American Robin. I particularly like the texture showing a lot of detail. The Robin stands out well against this background. Thanks for sharing and well done, cheers.

Pat,
A beautiful picture of your American Robin perched on a branch while keeping an eye on you, with the light sparkling in it's right eye, as it stands out from it's blurred background. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Pat, so nice to see this robin with the motley breast visited you and you were able to take this capture. The robin also probably stop by to have a snack. We have robins here with a solid orange breast and sings so beautifully. They stop by my bird bath every morning with no exception. Very nice. Ray

A very sweet and endearing visual presented here of this little Robin as it looks outward perhaps towards its next feeding site. Composition shades tones colors, and background adds to this visual delight. Well done.
