A lovely entry into the contest. The green with a spot of purple is very attractive vision. I like the Vignette fading out the background to avoid distractions. Good luck in the contest.

I think you did very well making this photo appear as a painting. It very much has the look of that! I like how you let the leaves flair out around the flower bud. I also like the first signs of the purple petals showing. I think this has a nice artistic touch and was nicely presented! Good Luck in the Green Contest! :o) Helvi
