This honey eater is one fine black billed bird, with a black and white cap or crown. feathers radiating from the bill which is hard to distinguish, but it is there. Last but not the least is that fine shade of yellow on his wing. Excellent focusing and a very enjoyable pose you caught. The best of luck in the contest. Ray

This is a cute photograph of the New Holl Honeyeater, which I have never heard of. You have captured a great, cute look on his face, that is in good focus. Unfortunately, the feathers on his body are not at as sharp as they could be. Good luck in the contest.

Love the quizzical look the Honey eater has! This is one of those pictures that any photographer would like to capture! Not only does your bird have perfect lighting and focus but it's look is to die for! Super shot that was absolutely fun to view! :o) Helvi

This is a wonderful close-up shot of the bird.. You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours, and composition have worked out well. Good luck!

A very good looking, striking image posted here into the competition. Yes, your fine and full composition convinces me that it is, indeed, asking that question. Textures, colours and tones are good. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done and good luck!

Hi, I know you were holding a camera but I think this New Holland Honeyeater thought it might be a gun or something. He looks pretty scared. Very good focus, texture and clarity with good bokeh in the background. Well done and thanks for sharing, cheers.
