Beautiful and very dramatic shot Pat. What a magnificent bird.
First sight impression was the vivid color of the Eagle. All natural in tone and shade.
Camera specs are spot on sharp and high resolution.
I have seen a juvenile bald on two separate occasions. In a way I am not surprised since there are several mature Eagles all around the lake.
I wonder, would we feel the same if Ben Franklin had his way and the Turkey became the nation's symbol?... Bob

Thank you so much Bob! Ha ha ha well I’m glad the eagle was chosen instead of the turkey because we don’t have wild turkeys here plus I think the honor is better suited to the bald Eagle! I am truly honored by your six stars!

They are here where I live in Kentucky but only found one on the nest out of photo range.
I still watch for them while I'm out.

Yes, I feel very fortunate to have lots of opportunities to photograph eagles. They are much easier to capture in flight then the smaller birds!

Hi pat this is a beautiful shot of an eagle and just look at those wings must be at the least a six foot span. Every time I see a eagle in flight, I really appreciate the raptor and it power. I love when you post eagles, just amazing. Ray

To be super picky, I might have cropped it a bit different, perhaps leaving more sky above and more space on the right side as if to convey the idea of motion. That's just my preference, nothing wrong as it now is. Very well done!
