I'm so glad I have a six left for this one LeeAnn! I love everything about this one including the title ! This is a beautiful way to honor the buck . The forget me not is our state flower and they are perfect to surround the skull.
Very well photographed with perfect placement of the skull and I just love the way this looks , this shows the contrast between the past and the present .
Spot on focus, nice clear image, perfect use of the light, colors abd tones appear natural.
Very well presented!

Thanks for the wonderful,thoughtful review,as well as the extra star. Forget-me-nots are one of the flowers I remember from my childhood, these were up at the ?hunting?cabin up the road.

This must be the sweetest background I have ever seen in your skull photos. The forget-me-nots are such small flowers, but so very pretty. I especially like the way the light is falling on the skull and at the same time brightens some of these tiny beauties.

The photo is pin sharp showing really clear and well defined details both in the skull and the flowers, and the exposure is spot on.

The tall format is of course perfect, and the skull has got a very good centered position. I also think the filters you have used adds wonders in this case. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo Lee Ann, and with an excellent DOF.

What a rare find! A bulk skull covered with lovely purple blossoms of forget-me-nots.
Angle, focus, and lighting are well done. Prominent colors and textures and the forget-me-nots are well taken, too, even individually.
