What an eye catching image. As a first post this shows you have a good eye. nice work in after phot as it really brings out the subject. Having the stem coming from the lower corner leads the eye to the beauty of the flower. Very nicely done. A great entry for the contest.
P.S. The watermark in the lower right does no distract from the image. In future postings the watermark might be distracting. Personally I never use a watermark on this site. Images are automatically protected. Just a thought.

For a first milestone post this one's excellent.
The color black is akin to the color of gold.. the contrast it produces is flattering for most anything it is compared against.
This piece of creative photography is a perfect illustration of the former.
The camera technique used to capture the flower is well thought out. The image is sharply focused, and the color is natural in appearance.
I am impressed by the artistic and technical skill you have shown with this post.

Beautiful. Yes, I love the light and the pastel colors of this tulips against the dark background. The slant presentation is also artistic and your placement and the vertical frame suits well. Lighting is well managed showcasing natural colors and the angle and focus is excellent. A lovely scene.
