These Japanese Cherry blossoms are truly lovely, and you have indeed pictured them well. I like the way the light is falling on the blossoms, and with the softened background they are standing out in an excellent way.
The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details in the blossoms, and the white balance and exposure is perfect.
I also like the way you have cropped the photo and the placement of the blossoms within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken photo Chris, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.
