Oh this is simply stunning in its simplicity of presentation and yet with so much fabulous detail captured with great clarity. Your editing worked extremely well with the dark background and the placement within the frame. Lovely!

Love lotus flowers our Botanical Garden only has the pink variety so nice to see this creamy pink tipped one.
Contrasts well against the black background and the exposure and lighting are good. Focus is sharp.

This is beautiful! I love the yellow center and the pink color at the tips of the petals. The sharpness is excellent. The dark background is perfect to show off this lovely flower. Very well done!

This is indeed a beautiful Lotus blossom, and it is standing out so well from the all dark background. The light is falling on it in such a lovely way, and the small droplets are giving it a fresh look.

The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details in all the petals of the flower, and the white balance and the exposure is very good.

The tight cropping has worked well, and the flower has got a fine placement within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken photo Nieves, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

Nice flower shot and the whiteness of the flower contrasts well with the black background in this one,do think though flowers should be kept for flower contests, but apart from that a nice shot...Brian

You should read the rules of "Outside Photo Contest" . It specifically says flowers . . . etc.

If you want to limit yourself even though the rule that does says so, you can. It's your call.

you are welcome nieves and fair point its just that more so with color contests there are a lot of flowers when there there are so many vast subjects out there and it is only an opinion

Nieves,,
A very beautiful picture of this single yellow centred Dahlia face open to the sun. Glowing out from it's dark background. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.
