You have indeed pictured this fungus well, so I can see why this photo is a winner. Congratulations ! I especially like the limited color pallet, and also how well the fungus is standing out from the softened background.

The photo is very sharp showing clear and well defined details in every part of the fungus, and the exposure is perfect.

The tall format is the best, and the fungus has got a fine placement within the frame. The vignette you have added is fine. It is a great looking and well taken photo Lee Ann, and with an excellent DOF.

A very well taken photo, very sharp in focus, that they are on a tree is cool, They look like they are holding on to each other. Love the colours of them. this photo is pleasing to look at, good luck in the contest

Nice shot, well focused with good composition eliminating distractions in the background with a slight blur. I believe the Dryad is an edible mushroom when young. Thanks for entering the contest :)

An interesting submission into the contest. I've seen similar fungi on tree trunks but not stacked like these. Good focus and clarity showing great detail of this fungus; good luck in the contest.
