This floral image has so much impact! Lupins are one of my favourite flowers and yes, I can imagine them as colourful rockets blasting off into the sky. Another fabulous piece of editing Nancy and a joy to view.

These are spectacular, love the enhancements that make them appear even more magical. They do indeed appear to be ready for lift off! The darker purple draws the eye in to this pretty grouping. I used to have lupines, not sure if they got eaten or decided not to come up anymore-lol! Another wonderful creation, Nancy, happy 4th to you!

Absolutely fantastic initial impact! Your technique is just great. The flowers pop right out of the composition, not only because of their color, but because of the great detail and lighting, setting them far apart from the background. Love it!

Wow! First of all, I love lupines ! They grow wild here and always bring back memories of family trips to the glacier as a little girl and I always picked a bunch of them. These are just gorgeous and I love that you see the rocket shape for the Fourth of July! Our sky won't darken enough for fireworks .i love the mixture of the pinks and purples .love the way they are arranged as if they are ready to launch!

Hi Pat, Love that your first word was WOW! When I saw this clump of Lupine, I walked around it to find the best possible angle to shoot it from. I'm glad you enjoyed the way I set it up! Some flowers just remind me of fireworks. This is one of them.

It may be subtle but I see the "rule of odds" at work here. Five pink lupine flowers and 3 purple lupine flowers. I guess only a nerd like me might take note of this. Thanks for sharing this wonderful piece.
