This seems to be a favorite variety of peony; I have this also, though it doesn't put out many blooms; chipmunks seem to like eating the flower buds-lol! This is a gorgeous bloom, caught at peak perfection and adorned with raindrops and set against a dark background to accentuate it's beauty, and your enhancements make it even more stunning, I can almost smell it!

Very attachtive post processing as you like to do.
I like the bold flower with the muted background. The image is very shape and well composed. The beads of rainfall add interest as the eye wanders about. Nice job and worthy of a six rating.

I have tried many times to grow peonies without success.
They are such beautiful and graceful flowers.
This one is so very well placed within the frame at a perfect angle to allow such a good look at its shape and structure.
You of course have photographed it with perfect focus, this image is sharp and clear and perfectly exposed to bring forward natural colors and tones.
The flower and its supporting leaves step forward from the neutral background. You use of mixed media works so well to emphasize the peony.
