This is a beautiful capture of the pelican, I find these birds to be fascinating and would love the opportunity to photograph one.
The bird is nicely placed within the frame well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural.
Well defined detail is seen over every part of the bird. I appreciate the face , especially the eye and the very long bill is emphasized by your vertical format .

I can hear the.bird saying .."I get that itch that my beak can't reach!"..lol. nice capture. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of this bird looking he wants to scratch where it can't reach is great. The presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

So envious Nieves of you seeing this pelican and then taking photos as well,the detail is spot on in this,we don,t have this bird in the uk,probarly not warm enough as such so to be able to see these in the wild is really something,good one this....Brian

A beautiful picture of this Brown Pelican it's long beak down & it's tip open as it searches for food swimming in the water below. The light shining down on it highlights it's glossy plumage. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.
