Hi Mary, your koala looks like he had a little attitude! Looks like he's thinking "All right all ready, take your darn picture so I can take a nap!" You definitely caught him in a moment we don't usually see! Lol Very cool and a lot of fun to view! Great focus and lighting let us really enjoy the shot! Good luck in the contest! :o) Nancy

Such a lovely photograph of this Koala Bear, they are so cute to see. Looks like he was studying you. I like the position in the fork of the tree. Your focus and clarity are good showing his cuddliness!

I am so jealous with your experience while walking on the trail and find this Koala making its way down this tree. Informative artist notes. I like how you have showcased this beautiful marsupial indigenous to Australia, in its natural habitat. It seems that he really gave you the chance to capture him perfectly and he was looking at you, too. All angle considered, this is a well-captured image and thank you for sharing Australia to us.

Thanks Seshadri so true we are lucky in South Australia that the Koala are doing well in other places men has destroyed so much of the habitat that they are struggling to survive.
