This is a lovely picture depicting warm memories of a child in summer. This feeling is particularly strong when growing up in England where some summers are not as warm as you like, so one relishes the times you can go to the beach. The details are clear and true, and the little one is so cute with her sunhat on looking out to sea.

Think this is nostagia in a nutshell,reminds all of us [perhaps a certain age] of trips to the seaside when we were younger[i did not wear a dress thoufg lol and although its created it does evoke i think times gone by....Brian

What a great creation. I like the contrasting blues of the water and the sky. The composition is great. The little girl is framed by the beach dunes. Her hat is placed by the rule of thirds. Her shadow gives a sense of intense sunshine. I also like the abstract like appearance. Well done.
