I am sorry I have not reviewed any of your pictures lately, but I am still here. My daughter has been very sick and has been in hospital for 5 weeks. I just did not feel for doing any work here on FAR. She is now out of hospital, but not totally recovered.
I think you have pictured this Anhinga really well. The background is probably not the best looking, but the bird is standing out from it in an excellent way.
The photo is very sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in the feathers of the bird. Especially on the wings. The exposure s perfect.
I also like the way the photo is cropped and the placement of the bird within the frame. It is a lovely and well taken photo Allan, and with an excellent DOF.

HI Annie, so sorry to hear about your daughters' health issue. As parents we try to do everything possible to help them out. I am glad you dedicated your time to her. My sincere wish for her full recovery.

Thank you Allan. I was quite scared this time since she has had a kidney transplant, but it all ended well.

Wow, a kidney transplant, that is very serious! It sounds like the worst is over for her, thankfully! I am sure all your support was crucial to helping her. Thanks for sharing.

I like how you have showcase the patterns, lines, and colors of the wings and feathers of this snake bird. I also like the inclusion of the ocean with very nice natural color and ripples. Great angle, lighting and framing placement. A delight to view.

Interesting markings on this bird which i think is where this photo is prominent only for the fact that looking down on birds/animals is not as good as being at the same level,but again you have got those markings spot on...Brian
