Nik,
An interesting shot of this rather rotund vendor with orange bunting & Union Jack flags what are the whistles around his neck for? Interesting composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus.

Very many thanks for your kind and investing review! The whistles are sold to the public who want to cheer on the bandsmen and marchers. Glad you enjoyed my photo.

He is indeed a large vendor. A very cultural true to life photograph. I think it would have looked better if the person on the right leg has been cropped out. A little distracting.

Really funny and great moment to capture .
When you called him a vendor I was wondering what is he selling - it must be really tasty for him since he needs to take care of all the leftovers.
But looks like he only have an easy job collecting the flags...

Great substance and informative artist's notes. I like how you have chronicled a celebration like this with significant historical facts in Northern Ireland. Point of improvement is to remove that unnecessary leg. Just a pretty basic rule of photography to remove the non-essential and this is surely a distraction. Also, the cart was cut off. That could have been included or just completely removed, too.

No, I completely disagree with your entire review! This was a journalism photo, taken quickly on the spur of the moment because I did not want to get his face square on. If you read my keywords I stated that this was journalism and not an attempt to get the perfect photography image!
