Balanced composition! You did a great job! You paid a lot of attention to details, petals, flower, everything turned out very well. The blurred background did its job, highlighting the main composition in the foreground.

Hi Nancy, this image of "False Indigo" is an interesting one and I think half in bloom. So we get a bit of before and after with this one which is a two for one if you think about it. I like the addition of shadow against the background bokeh. Good focus, texture, clarity and composition. Thanks for sharing :-)

This is the first time I have seen this plant , it appears to be a spike flower with rich purple tones and the golden center detail, it's very pretty . I like the softness in the background and its supporting greenery the shadows add another element and work to emphasize the shape of the spikes.
Well focused, clear to view and exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural. Well composed and presented!

I do like this presentation of the false indigo flower. The diagonal angle of the shot is interesting. The background nicely contrasts and adds to the overall presentation.
