Truly lovely to see the deer with such beautiful antlers. The central composition works well and the colors are natural. Like the contrasting greens of trees and grass. Lovely to see :)

the deer is saying to the birds.."No! I don't care if your friends with Bambi. I'm not giving you a ride!" lol..nice capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this deer walking away from both birds and pond is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

I've never heard of or seen a Sika Deer - a very lovely creature indeed!
Your shot is clear, sharp and allows for ample appreciation of this deer scrolling through what appears to be a maintained park. A story line is present, as I can only imagine the deer is retreating back to the woods after partaking in a sip from the pond.
If helpful, I will offer a couple of suggestions. The subject to moving to the left, and should be given more room to do so; meaning more surrounding space on the left and less on the right to allow movement - alternatively, you could crop the image to adjust its placement in the frame. I personally would crop in until the furthest bird on the right is left out. I'm not familiar with the safari - so I don't know if this applies... but take a look at both monitor and camera settings to ensure the color of the grasses are true to the surroundings (I'm picking up on an imbalance of yellow hue in the grass and deer). Lastly, it appears you focal point was on the antlers (why wouldn't it be - that's an impressive rack), in the future try to focus on the eye (face). This input is only meant to brainstorm, in no way is it meant to offend.

I really love the suggestions. In this particular shot, I intentionally want to show the pond and have several focus shots of this deer. Yes, this is a 420 acres privately owned family Safari but is no longer open. Got closed last March 2022 and no longer open for public. The foreground is yellow-green. Maybe because of Spring weeds with blossoms. They're pretty tiny. In my screen, the pond is dark green, and the deer is really brown. Anyway, I love the review and I don't mind any points for improvement notes. Thanks my friend for this pleasant review.

I don't know if my inquisitive nature is a blessing or a curse. While refamiliarizing myself with the FAR Site, I pressed blinders and now I don't know who the artist is of any piece. It's good because I'm able to simply review the art (as I did managing a gallery for 2 + years); it allows me to be subjective and offer guidance without the emotional impact of the artist and thus offer a clear and kind review. I don't know how to cancel the "Blinder" function, and I'm not sure if I want to. Staying focused on the art without the emotional element an artist may or may not bring to the table might be beneficial. I'm so relieved that you are accepting of any pointers I may have to offer.

I would love to learn from you. Yes, to that expert's advise. Just an FYI, I had been and will always be a big fan of your photographs. Pointers are good. "Iron sharpens iron".

This is a wonderful picture, I love the landscaping and of course the deer portrayed in the middle. The colors of the background make the deer pop and the pond behind allows the deer to further elevate that feeling. Great work!

May I know what is the point of improvement because you only gave this 4.5 stars. According to the rules, if there's no point of improvement it should be five. If there is , you have to let me know.
Thank you, Ryan.

A lovely photograph of this deer in the wild, or is it a park? You have captured
magnificent shot showing the majesty of those antlers; the whole scene is clear and crisp.

This is just in a private Safari. Got closed already last 2022. It used to be opened for public.

Everything is beautiful in this photo. The deer, the nature, the birds, the composition itself. The deer is of course very beautiful, just like from a cartoon))). It is very pleasant to look at him.

Great composition in placing the deer where it is. I find the background very pleasing and interesting. The dissecting road adds interest. I like the pond as a calming aspect of the shot. Great depth of field kept things sharp throughout. On a safari, on my!
