You are very good at close-up shots! As always, you can see this bird of paradise very closely! You clearly know how to take a good, clear photo! I would only like to see the male peacock in this photo with his beautiful, bright plumage:)

A nice clear shot of the female peacock, with excellent focus and detail of her plumage. Its' a shame you couldn't get a photo with her tail feathers on show; or is it just the makes that do a display like that?

Only the male will do that during the mating. She's inside in front of him, the male peacock displays his wings and moved to surround her.
I've witnessed their mating. It was noisy. Thanks for the great review, Michele.

Not sure why the title, maybe there was another peacock near, but that aside a good clear image of this peacock, sometimes though its good if you can get some action in a bird shot,[not always possible though]...Brian

A beautiful bird is turning her head to look at something behind her. This is a very focused photo. With a simple green background, an elegant image stands out!

Lovely capture. I see a feathered grace in its purest form, a bird in its natural habitat. You framed it well, and the light, shadows, colours, and composition worked well. Good effort!
