You captured the mood of this image very well, it feels powerful and dynamic! It's great that you chose black and white and added pink accents, the work is very original and most importantly, alive! Yo Ray.. This one caught me totally off guard, and I love it.
It is stark, dark and raw edged in its portrayal of a fine jazz musician with a great set of pipes.
The limited color palette only tends magnify her personality, which you have captured.

Think you have captured pinks personna spot on in this,clever piece of work and you know i don,t always get some of your stuff but this is so good and want more of the same,i know your work is diverse but when its regonized i think its better[of course its my opinion and not necessary other people views] but i do think you do make people think so thats a good thing,good one Ray...Brian

I like how you've painted the hair because that really looks like the hair of Pink. The side view presentation is great and you have showcased her smiling face while singing or just talking. The dark background really highlights her pink fur coat. You have drawn and painted this well. The vertical orientation fits well and this is framing placement is also appropriate. A great contest entry.
