Very good pencil drawing of this Macaw. I have always thought they are the best parrots. You have drawn this so well. Black and white means it's hard to tell if it is a blue or red. Both are beautiful. Very well done and good luck in the contest :-)

This is a wonderful artwork. I did pencil for years before digital art so I know how difficult it is to get the shading just right. Did a excellent job here. The details are perfect, the lighting excellent. Over all a great presentation, Thanks for sharing!

I like the informative and humorous artist's notes. The clarity of the patterns and textures of the wings is superb. You've showcased this parrot on a side view showing us the facial features especially the eye. Drawing and shading were done with excellent skills. Choice of portrait orientation in framing fits well and the placement is right. Lastly, the plain background really highlights your subject without any distractions. This is a stellar!
