This is one bright - magnificent flower that is perfect for the contest. Nicely captured with sharp edges to allow the viewer insight of the complexity of each pedal. The appropriate DOF allows this bloom to dominate the frame and demand attention. Gorgeous!

A lovely blue flower that looks like a chrysanthemum.
I like the natural bokeh of green. The blue bokeh looks odd. Framing placement in a side view position and the negative space is great. Great angle and focus, but brightness is a little bit intense and can still be improved. Overall, this is a lovely and unique color of a flower.
