Hi Art, this is fine attempt at presenting the illusion of poster lithographs. I am a fan of Jules Cheret and Henri Toulouse Lautrec. Their pieces are very inclusive of surroundings and fill the whole space. Your piece is a good rendering, floating in a sea of light green. Here is some cheap advice, take it or leave it. Ground your main attraction, include descriptive background and let the painting tell the story, it will take your art to the next level Art, your piece shows promise, nice proportions and a good feel for your subject. You have the gift. Ray

This image is very bright & bold. Looks like a perfect illustration for a children's book. The colors are bright and pleasing to look at, and the anatomy of the man looks accurate.

When creating this piece I did a bit of research as regards the style of robe. It turns out that its closer to Chinese than Japanese (or maybe it's inspired by Japanese robes. I'm not one hundred percent sure. Never mind that-- thank you for your awesome review of my work. Cheers!

Well Done! This poster offers a powerful initial impact to the viewers. That red robe against the lime green background grabs one's immediate attention. The poster certainly tells a story and stirs interest. I like the way you have incorporated highlights on the shins or rather muscle tone in the legs. The poster certainly demonstrates your skill as an artist.
