Hi Nancy.. I am seeing multiple pollinators as well. Especially in the sage plants.

You framed the whole gang and got them all in fine focus - well done. With these critters getting any one of them to hold still long enough is almost against all odds to say nothing of a gang of em.

The colors are what got my attention, bright and vibrant with just a touch of highlighting.

Nice work lady... Bob

Nice concept! Great work adding the shadow on the butterfly. I would of used the smudge tool on the yellow flower to blend the background into the flower more otherwise great work. Thanks for sharing.

HI Lynn, It's funny that you mention using the smudge tool for the background because I usually do! Don't know why I didn't this time! Thanks for the great review1 Glad you enjoyed! :o) Nancy

Isn't it wonderful how mother nature shares her wealth. Composition, shades, tones, colours and textures are beautifully done and presented. Thank you for sharing this lovely scene.

The gangs all here is a perfect title and we immediately see how you came up with it! It is so special to see the butterfly on the golden/ yellow flower and then we look up and notice the two bees
Well focused, clear image with good exposure. Colors and tones appear natural.
I like the way you added the shadow on the left
Well composed and presented!

The way you've captured th flower and the insects feasting on it is simply breathtaking. Every detail, from the delicate texture of the petals to the vibrant play of colours, feels like it's bursting with life. Well done!. Sorry, I have run out of the SIXes.

Thanks Nancy. Yes, my son-in-law in Australia had a brain aneurysm and operation and my eldest son who lives in Suffolk is having investigations to sort out another problem, so fingers crossed things will be better soon. I've not had time to do any painting for ages either! Suzanne

Great contest entry for "Bugs" Nancy. I like how you have focussed on the Black Swallowtail and including the bees all on the one flower bright yellow flower. Nice blurred background to bring out your subjects. All the best in the contest.

A great entry into the contest; love how you have captured the butterfly and bees; apt title. Lovely focus and clarity with a muted background so as not to detract from your source of your attention. Good luck in the contest.
