A wonderful photo of this male mallard, love the lighting as it has enabled you to capture the sheen in those green feather. Very well focused with nice catchlight in the eye, the slight vignette frames this drake nicely by drawing the eye into your photo. A very enjoyable photo!

I love the vibrant green head of this male mallart. I like how you have shown it home environment in Virginia Park stream. I enjoy the realistic and natural colors. It looks like you have added a vignette that darkens the overall edge of the frame. Angle, focus, framing and white balance control are great. An increase in lighting can also improve this image. A refreshing scene.

Oh my goodness ! Look at that iridescent green head and neck ! The Mallard Drake is beautiful and I can see that he has been searching for food by looking at his bill!
He is well placed within the frame and I like his pose with his back facing me but I still get a good look at his neck, face and bill , I appreciate that clear eye, that establishes a connection between the viewer and the duck!
Spot on focus , this image is sharp and clear and your exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural. Well defined feathers.
Well composed allowing a good sense of these surroundings. Well presented!
