Really nice wildlife shot Charlotte and i also know there are a lot of seals in north norfolk to view,they do tell you not to get near so guess this is a long lens shot,good one...Brian

A beautiful picture of the Seal Pup suckling from it's mother while lying on the snow covered ground, it's thick fur coat protecting it & it's mother from the icy temperatures. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Hi Charlotte.. Lots of initial visual impact with this take.
The color palette is limited to the surroundings but that only enhances the contrast.
Camera technique has yielded an image of excellent focus and sharpness.

Nicely done! A rare and exciting opportunity to capture a moment not available to those of us in landlocked areas. Technically executed with notable detail throughout the image and also displays the texture of the fur as well as the crisp snow. The image tells a story! Lighting is perfect and avoids both clipping and blocking.
