A lovely entry into the contest. Beautiful yellow petals and deeper yellow center of the flower. Good clarity and focus; the darkened background makes the flower colors pop.

This is a beautiful "Glowing" presentation of a dahlia. Your process to remove and reapply the subject, created a very aesthetically pleasing image. It is standing out from the background in a very dynamic way and the details captured on each petal reminds the viewers of the softness and fragile existence of each petal. The Disc Floret adds to the composition with the repeating patterns. Good luck in the contest.
