A very beautiful visual presented here. Composition, shades, tones, colours and textures are very well done and presented. I particularly like the angle that you used to highlight the waterfall within the piece. well done.

Hi Joy, Welcome to FAR and congratulations on your posting your first image. I remember performing the same exercise you described in your notes... Playing with the camera settings trying to get the desired effect. It appears your patience and resolve paid off! Those multiple cascades have a wonderful surreal, soft representation and you have effectively avoided both clipping and blocking in the image. You have framed this image perfectly, allowing a nice balance between water features and surrounding foliage. I appreciate that you have not been tempted too over saturate the scene. I further want to appreciate the fact you have the image level; the water is level in the horizontal plane (something that many do not pay attention to). This is a very beautiful image and a pleasure to review.

Yes and i think you got this just right,most times when people do this milky look on waterfalls its just that alone,but you have given a more overall view which works as well,nice one and welcome to the site...brian

The view is magnificent. The scene per se is already a stellar because it looks like a paradise. I like the cascading waterfall with Autumn leaves and evergreens in the background. Composition and angle is superb. Long exposure setting is also good showing a dreamy flow of the flow of the water. Points of improvement is to make sure that your white balance control setting is right. Here the white is a bit bright and too white. Overall, this scene is beautiful and it evokes peace and tranquility.

Thank you for the feedback on white balance. I am new to editing photos and never really sure what makes a photo "look good" when it comes to contrast and white balance. So I appreciate the feedback.
