Hi Ray, I'm thinking there was a storm or a storm is actually brewing in this shot. The sea looks a little rough. Clouds have a way of making sunset or sunrise shots very pretty. Though the sky isn't super bright it is intense. The reflection in the water is intense too. On days like this every minute show different hues. Love the look of this as the sun is almost ready to sink out of sight! Nice Job! :o) Nancy

This is absolutely beautiful on first impression. The texturing of paintwork is very appealing. The pallet is juicy and glows. I like the wide format. The scene is balanced and with depth A fine compisition overall.

Oh Ray, this is very nice. I love the various shades of blue and purple that are sporadically broken up with those ember rays from the sun. I further like the texture that is visible through my monitor. A very aesthetically pleasing piece.

Really nice piece of artwork Ray the sun setting just on top of the water really makes for a good balance with the horizon in this and the hint of a reflection is an added bonus....Brian

I like the dramatic sky filled layers if colors with some golden sunset colors. I like your sun and the leveled horizon. The bluish body of water is so calm and I like you have included some rocks in the left hand side. Clarity of textures of the water. Great concepts and excellent painting skills. A tranquil scene that evokes stillness of the heart and mind.
