A touching painting of a young woman feeding the birds. She is connecting
with nature; nicely shown here with a realistic and heartfelt painting.

I don,t think pidgeons are magical as such[over here in the uk along with seagulls they can be a pest] that aside this is quite good and it sort of reminds me of the pidgeon lady in home alone, nice one....Brian

Thank you Brian. I went to Spain in a school trip. We started off in Madrid( also visited your city) and continued in to the coast. We then crossed over to Africa for 2days then back to Madrid. It was a fantastic trip!!

HI Maureen, Though this doesn't have a huge resemblance to it, this reminds me of the song, "Feed The Birds" from Mary Poppins! Love that song! Love the the maidens gesture to the birds by holding her hands out. Love the way she is dressed too. Looks like the maiden is in the village streets. Love the thought behind this. It's a very touching image. Very Nicely Done! :o) Nancy

You've given this a very old world feel to it. The expression on the women's face is very captivating. Colors, details, shading, lighting all very nice. Overall a great presentation. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful. I love the scene per se of a woman being chased by the seagulls for food. I also like how you have painted and dresses up the woman with that blue skirt and and white blouse with her long braided hair. I'm glad that you Spain vacation turned out to be the source of inspiration to paint this scene. Clarity of textures especially the bricks. Well done, Maureen.

Hi Maureen - upon initial glimpse, my mind went to Disney's "Cinderella". Great initial impact / Impression.

This soft pastel is loaded with inviting criterions that all come together to form the story. Your detail, colors and compositional elements (i.e., the multiple birds and the bricks in the background) make this painting a true gem. You have given the girl / woman a lovely expression of love, patience and trust. I like it!!

Another good looking, tender nature image posted here. I feed the birds in our back garden after I wake up in the morning. Your fine and full composition offers us an enjoyable view of that important time. Nicely drawn!
