If your willing, I would love to know your camera settings for this shot. It is gorgeous. The bright sunset that illuminates the ominous clouds is stunning. You angle of the shot, that allows both larger and smaller tree(s) attempts to balance the image while offering a nice compositional element. Though the ground is dark - it's not blocked and retains both detail and texture. I struggle with shots like this and would be grateful for some advice on how to navigate it. Beautiful. Please accept my virtual 6-star review.

Greatly appreciate your reviews. As for the settings, I will have to look them up and get back to you. Best I can recall, I took about twenty to thirty shots in rapid succession while moving around and hoping at least one would work.

Thanks so much! As with many of my photos, it was more about being in the right place at the right time by sheer accident that I was able to capture this fleeting moment. The bright sunlight between the clouds and the horizon lasted but a few minutes.
