Maureen, when I look at this drawing, my mind goes in two different directions. 1) the Beauty of your craft, your skill, your professionalism and how simply meditative this must be for you. No one can immerse themselves into a creation like this without experiencing the "Zone" or rather living in the moment. I'm so happy that you have this ability and thus release from the world's chaos. 2) Your final pieces are always top-notch in realism, scale, detail and aesthetic appeal. The detail you have expressed in this piece is phenomenal with the character (imperfections) of the tree, the small limbs, leaves, and obviously those sweet birds! I further love the background that offers vertical lines of distant trees, offering compositional appeal as well as a natural setting or surrounding. Your attention to highlights and lowlights, is simply extraordinary. I sincerely enjoy reviewing your work.

Although Maureen this was probarly not easy to do think i do prefer the last one from you,one thing that strikes me is the birds eyes are really dark in this and if the eyes had been in this it for me would have had a focus.....Brian
