Awesome freeze frame photo, cute photo of your dog on some sand. Doesn't scream 'beach scene' to me personally though. I'd love to see some water in the frame, perhaps some more colour.

I'm sorry my image did not meet your expectations - I'm confused on the expectation of water as this was entered for a Dog photography contest, which just won 2nd place. LOL. I live in a landlocked state (Colorado) not on the coast. Four stars suggest adjustments are needed; three stars suggest below average. That said, ignoring the image of water absent the scene - I'd appreciate a better understanding of what I could have improved on to capture the moment. A beautiful stop action picture of Malaki, a Malamute dog coming to a halt on the sandy path in the Park, the sunlight highlighting his beautiful soft & long fur coat & the sand that he disturbed by coming to a sudden stop. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

Dogs are my favorite subject for photography! This is a fantastic stop action capture of Malaki as he is having a blast at the park! It appears that he is just about to make a turn and head back to the right!
He is perfectly placed within the frame , focus is spot on, this image is sharp and clear , you have brought out such well defined detail , his beautiful fur and it's soft texture, I appreciate that clear eye! I love the way his fur is blown back from his fast motion , I can see how he has kicked up the dirt as he moves through. I have not seen a white toned malamute before , he's beautiful! Well composed and presented. Awesome entry for this contest! Best wishes to you!
