This is the sad part of the life these poor kids endure in third world countries and now more and more in the states. Open borders does not help as they are often funneled in as part of a family when in reality children traveling with women who are not their moms are very common. Sad. Very expressive artwork. Thanks for sharing.

Yes - human trafficking is horrific and I certainly hope we can all work together to end this century practice that degrades and harms far too many in our world.

I applaud you for illustrating (bringing to light) your compassion for on this subject to your art.

As with all of your work - this one too, has resulted with your broad breath of experience, techniques and skill being demonstrated. The detail in the shirt, her form, her expression as she holds her head, all comes together to deliver, not only your mind's eye but your story telling ability through your art.
