Hi Lynn, You may not think this is too Halloweenie but I do! Love the skeleton bird and the black cat. I also like the way you made the cat blend into the background and the mesh of spider webs. The stare of the cat is pretty cool too! The vibes definitely say Halloween. Hope it's alright to say you did a good job! :o) Nancy

Thank you so much for your nice review. I have no problem sharing my faith. I think if more people did, this country wouldn't be in the mess it is in. I tried to keep it more creative then Halloween. Didn't want to use ghosts so I went with cobwebs, cat, skeleton and pumpkins :)

I imagine the bird is coming back from the dead to haunt the cat (who probably chased it - LOL). Very creative to incorporate the date of Halloween on to the boxes. I like the way you have placed the cat off to the right , the skeleton under the ghostly looking web is well created and well situated here , the pumpkins soften the scene as well as bring that pop of color. Perfect idea to put the date blocks in this scene too.
The grey brick wall works well as background.

think halloween has become to commercial and here in the uk more so [we tend to follow americans in that as well] of course in other countrys its more about the next day and day of the dead,this is quite good and describes what it is about as such,good one Lynn despite your misgivings...Brian
