A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us a very enjoyable view of your handsome dog. I presume it was panting after doing a run? Colours and detail are good. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well taken!

Nice spur of the moment catch! The lighting is really nice on this, the clarity is top notch. Not sure what he/she is looking at but it has their focus. Overall a nice presentation. Thanks for sharing.

Blue is a gorgeous chocolate lab. He even appears to smile as you capture his side profile. I love dogs and love to photograph them.
He is well focused, this image is clear and you have brought out nice detail in his fur and I appreciate the clear eye.the chain around his neck tells us that Blue is loved and cared for by his people.
When photographing dogs, be careful not to clip parts, here you have clipped his lower jaw and tip of his tongue.
Look at his tongue right along the side of it is a bit over exposed, I don't know your camera settings , but too much light caused the white on the tongue.
I also find that white strip just above his head to be a distraction and I would clone that out .

This is a special image of ones loved pet, tightly cropped with loads of appreciation to be admired through a sharp image with ample detail. The detail is so precise, we, the viewers can sense the detail in the texture of his / her coat. I would be remiss to not state the frame is a little comprised and overall feels he / she is claustrophobic - his Toung is not allowed to be fully seen in the frame. That said, the image is radiating with proper lighting, detail and overall interest. Good luck in the contest.

A handsome chocolate labrador. I love the prominent and shiny textures of the fur as well as the overall facial features. I understand that this is a portrait, but I think it still needs a breathable space for its framing. Excellent angle, focus, and lighting. Wish you the best in this contest .
