Hi....

Initial impact: 4.5 - The soft muted color of this frosty overcast scene tends to lessen the visual wow factor.
Creativity of presentation: 5.5 - Getting this scene just right for the lens required a great deal of forethought and preparation and it has paid off.
Color Harmony: 6.0 - This post so meets the criteria of this contest. The colors look real.
Center of Interest: 5.0 - This entire scene is the center of interest. What gives this scene its punch is the experienced use of the rule of thirds.
Technical Excellence: 6.0 - You are practiced in the use and application of your camera of choice.
Technique: 6.0 - You resisted the urge to over use the sliders - bravo. In so doing you kept this fine post well within the parameters of the contest.
Lighting: 6.0 - You can't beat an overcast day for all of the above reasons.
Story Telling Ability: 5.5 - Viewing this gave me a chill. The artist has presented a compelling image that tells the story of a changing season.
Recommendation(s): I have no technical or artistic recommendations for this piece.

I reviewed this post using FAR's 8 review points for an aggregate score of 44.5. Gives a rating of 5.6 - good luck in the contest... Bob.

A very lovely visual presented here this amazing landscape. I love that you use black-and-white to highlight the trees and bushes. Beautifully executed thank you for sharing.

This is a realistic, perfectly coloured, and skillfully executed piece. You have captured the whimsical quality of the mist in the mountains. It is captivating, Good luck!

Thank you - after researching and reading several tutorials on Muted photography: Example https://photoheger.com/blog/muted-photography-essay/. I believed the effect to be one that softens Saturation and vibrancy being reduced to only a hint of color. Maybe I've misunderstood. A fun and educational contest none the less. Thank You

Very interesting, I would call this subtle but also very dramatic. the monotone displays a muted look, but the actual clouds, mountain, and frosted vegetation tells another story. Excellent post for this contest - a winner?
