Ha, at first glance I thought we had a Midwest farm scene going on. But when looking in the background I saw mountains!
To me what this scene shows is the eye and skill of the photographer. It is not just a stop and shoot on a whim. You knew the subject and recognized the weather would accentuation what could be an ordinary scene.
I love the warm color of the vegetation and the cool, if not threatening, color of the sky.

Great shot here of Autumn in the valley showing farm life in this beautiful image. The buildings are well kept. Great natural autumn colours with sharp focus. Lighting, texture and clarity are all good and the oil paint filter is very creative. Great shot that tells any number of stories. Well done and thanks for sharing :-)

A lovely photograph of the farm in the Matanuska valley. beautiful golden grasses shown in the foreground with the contrasting red buildings in the middle third of the photograph. Overall photograph is very sharp and clear except the mountains in the background that appear to be shrouded in clouds/ mist/ rain.? However a beautiful shot as always, Pat.

WOW factor at first glance. I fell in love with the golden foreground indicative of the changing of the season. The red barns added another layers of color in this composition as well as the grayish and dramatic sky. Excellent angle, composition, and lighting. The setting is so dramatic and is a joy to view.

This is a very attractive scene that carries so much interest with the various structures and colors. Framed nicely to allow the viewer to take in the warmth of the glistening grasses as well as the coolness of the mountains and misty air. The red barn becomes a nice focal point for the viewer to expand on as they take in the entire frame. Very nice Pat
