This is a great photograph of this bird on the wing. Focus and clarity are not as sharp as it could be. The blue background Does help in focusing on the bird

What a funny scene of this bird having its meal at the top of the sky. Love the wingspan. Prominent patterns of the wings and the cloudless sky gives the viewer an exclusive focus on the subject. A fun to watch. Nice scene, Mark.

Hi Mark - I'm so glad you pointed out the "Eating" in your title. I wish FAR would allow for a better magnified look at details (I was trying to discern what he/she was eating). This is a great forward-looking shot of the black kite in flight. The controlled white balance and exposure allows the viewer to appreciate the nice details in both the wings and body. You even caught that twinkle of light in its eye! Well Done.

A beautiful stop action picture of the Black Kite hovering overhead while eating it's catch on the wing. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Well placed within the frame , I like the wings position and the fanned out tail feathers.
The bird is standing out so well from the blue sky .
Focus could be sharper , a faster shutter speed at least 1/2500 would produce a sharper image, still a nice shot of the black kite.

good capture of this bird with its prey in its mouth although a side view would have been clearer of that but sometimes you have to take what you can get,and it is a good one....brian
