I really like this painting because of the limited color pallet and the earth tones, and also because of the guy on the top of the bridge is so distinct. It is also great to see the wood shining through because this offers such great textures.

The very tall format works well the show the distance from the top of the bridge down to the water. It is also a very good flow and balance in the composition. I think this is a great looking painting Ray, and so well done.

Annie, thank you so much for your wonderful review, rating and complimentary comments. This is a 3" x 6" x 3/4" pine scrap on a pile and it had black paint and washes of white. I noticed the silhouette of a man. It just came together after that. I am very pleased that you like this, Sometimes things just happen. Ray
