The incoming waves give this a good sense of the sea and how waves crash onto a beach some much larger so windsurfers can ride on them,not so with these version but does give the viewer a sense of the sea...Brian

Brian, The shore waves in the ocean depend on the bottom to create the waves. Hopefully you can see the wave forming in the distance. as the water gets shallower the waves continue to form. Shore breakers develope because he bottom does not get shallower and you wind up with shore breakers. Thank you for your ffine review i am glad you like it. Ray

Your technique, skill and experience in paint is masterful, allowing for perfect highlights and lowlights to offer realism and detail to this piece. Any one viewing this one should be feeling the movement in the water that you have effectively depicted. Again, your broad breath of talents shows in this presentation. Nice.

Kathy, wow! I really appreciate all the time and consideration you put into this wonderful review. I grew up on the ocean swimming, body surfing and kayaking. I started at the age of ten when my father taught me how to body surf. I respect the ocean and I love creating images of it from my mind.
