I can so relate to this image. And the older we get and realize how fragile our bones have become, the more cautious we are. :o)

This image is very fitting for the contest and extrudes the feeling of chilly temps as we watch this person "Bundled" up in a heavy coat and wearing a hat and gloves navigate the slippery stairs.

The image is well taken with nice contrast, light and clarity. You have framed her in the center, whereas her bright orange coat immediately grabs and locks in the viewer's eye.

A definite story unfolding right before us. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks Kathy, I like your comments. I have always felt that a photo can tell a story. As you pointed out, this one is playing out before us. She did make it down the stairs without incident. I agree totally about how much more cautious we are as we age. Getting out of bed in the morning is fraught with risk! Thanks again.

Great entry for this contest as well as a good reminder for anyone who lives in the wintery states . It's a fear of mine to slip and fall during winter.
Well captured, this tells the story well , we see this woman carefully making her way down the steps. Her car parked up on the left under a grey sky.
Well focused , this image is sharp and clear and your exposure is correct, nice white snow, her jacket brings a nice pop of color to this wintery scene, her warm jacket and hat tells us it is cold !
Well composed and presented!

Thanks Pat, I always appreciate your comments. In this case she was visiting us and I had to loan her my blaze orange hunting jacket to stay warm. I thought the contrast of cool was interesting. She was actually join us to go ice fishing.
