It is a truly lovely butterfly you have pictured here. It has a very delicate look together with the pink blossoms. The background is probably a bit busy, but it is nicely softened for the butterfly to stand out in an excellent way.
The photo is sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in both the body and the wings of the butterfly. The exposure and white balance is perfect.
The tall format works so well, and the butterfly has got such a fine placement within the frame. This is such a lovely and well taken photo Kathy, and with a good DOF.

I had taken a image similar to this. Tis that kind of year again. The colors are really nice, the texture in the image help give it depth. The lighting and shading great. Overall a nice presentation. Thanks for sharing.

Such a pretty butterfly. The pink flower is very complimentary. Both give off a very soft and delicate vibe. I like the nice, blurred background in the perfect pale green. Love it.

A very beautiful nature image of a Paper Kite. The clarity is excellent, colours appear natural and your capture is wonderfully composed. I love the way it is perched on the pretty pink flowers. The blurry background allows the butterfly to 'pop'. Well done Kathy!

Thanks Allan - I tried to photograph one in flight, but an indoor habitat with limited lighting, made it impossible to get the optimal shutter speed without having to use an unrealistic ISO. Thank you for the added star of appreciation - I appreciate it!
