This is such a fun looking hair piece and I'm sure it will be noticed and admired by the little ones knocking at your door tonight.
Your photo along with post editing has created a fun image, whereas this Spider / Jacko lantern Bug is literally appearing to be entertaining us as though he/she is on a stage singing.
The image is sharp and allows the viewer to even see the fibers on the arms.
Well done - have fun tonight. :o)

You've also presented this hair barrette artistically in square frame with dark background and some shadows. I like the artist's notes. God bless your heart in feeding the hungry children.

That bright pumpkin face and the orange feet are standing out so well also the tips of the antennas draw is in . Very clever to use the purple vase as the body . This is so well photographed with spot on camera techs the background is perfect for this bug. Your use of mixed media works to emphasize the subject plus it gives nice depth , giving the impression that the bug is moving toward me.
