Oh my - this sounds like the next flower I will need to incorporate into my house. "Thrives" on neglect - yep, that ones for me. LOL

A sharp, detailed image that even allows the viewer to sense the texture of the plant. The lighting is well managed and has allowed these blooms to appear in the spotlight. Centrically framed with ample room for both mat and frame to allow appreciation on a wall.

This is an interesting entry to the contest, if a cactus flower. The soft red flower is well focused and presented. The daker background helps isolate the flowers' intriguing shape and color.

A very beautiful picture of the Echinopsis Huascha the Red torch Cactus with it's copper coloured petals & golden centre standing out from it's dark background. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

This is a beautiful and very interesting entry for this contest. I can see that you live in a warm location with this cactus growing in your garden.
Well focused, this image is clear and your exposure is correct, the colors and tones appear natural. The two blooms are standing out beautifully , I see there is another bloom on lower left.

This is an excellent capture of the Red Torch cactus plant. There is clarity and good likeness colour. The bottom left flower is encroaching a bit and I think if it had been blurred or cropped out the main fliwers would have mire impact. However I do think this is overall a good take.
