These two Iris blooms look so pretty, and I especially like the simplicity of the photo. They are also standing out from the green background in an excellent way.
The photo is sharp showing such clear and well defined details in the petals of the Iris. The exposure is also very good.
The format is perfect and the flowers have got a fine placement within the frame. I think this a truly lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

A lovely photograph of the blue/purple iris; focus and clarity show a lot of detail, in the petals. A darkened background would further promote the image to a heightened image impression.

The purple and green together is such a winning color combination . The two iris blooms are just lovely and I like their placement within the frame and the way the stem tilts to the right.
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors abd tones appear natural.
