I always smile when I see your illustrations and notice the trademark flower. :o)
Mark you just simply continue to get better and better over time (and that is a compliment - as I found your work wonderful when I was on FAR several years ago).
Your character here is just to darn cute and you have created her to suggest she processes a little bit of sassiness! I find delight in her apparel and small broom (or is that a dust wand - LOL). The pumpkins offer placement for the story along with the nice full swiss cheese moon behind her. That pointed hat is perfect. Love it.

Just showing what these lil sharpies and bics can do..did three different cartoons in the past week and since I'm not doing the videos anymore I'm back to cranking out the ole cartoons..wink..however, I'm thinking of bringing back the "MKFLOOD Project " videos..endless possibilities but I'm still drawing..Thanks Brian. The image is very cute. Love the colors and the reason behind it. I gave a six because I loved Anne Rice. She was a strong advocate for new writers. She often engaged with her fans on a one to one. I didn't know her personally but she helped me out of a few situations by contacting me directly via email. She was a wonderful person. I am not so much a fan of her stories anymore but that's for personal religious reasons. But I did appreciate Anne as a person and mentor.

It is nice to see one of your sharpie drawings again, and this one is rather cute. You have even included a little flower and the girl's shoulder. I especially like your good attention to details and also the color pallet.
It is fine shadings to be seen in the girl's outfit and the moon and I like the dark background. Good use of high lights as well.
The tight framing works well, and the little witch is well placed within the frame. I think this is a sweet and well done Halloween scene Mark.
